1:1 Psychological Therapy for Women

SarahDavies-83.jpg

If you are struggling with anxiety and/or depression - you don’t have to navigate it alone. I provide individualised, 1:1 therapy for people going through life transitions, dealing with high levels of stress, relationship difficulties, and parenting challenges. As a registered psychologist, I provide a safe and supportive space to help you implement cognitive (thinking) and behavioural (action) strategies to improve your mood and overall wellbeing. I utilise Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in treatment.

How to Refer:

You can choose to self-refer privately (no GP referral needed).

If you have Private Health Insurance, you may be eligible for a rebate. Check with your Provider what your Rebate is likely to be  (Code 100 for initial assessment, Code 200 for follow-ups) as this varies depends on your personal level of cover. No GP referral is needed for Private Health Insurance Claims. I will provide you with a receipt that you pass onto your Private Health Provider for your Rebate after each session. Please be aware that you cannot claim a Private Health Rebate, if you nominate to use Medicare Rebate as part of a Mental Health Care Plan Referral.

Alternatively, you can speak to your GP about your eligibility for a Mental Health Care Plan (treatment for Anxiety/Depression) with a Referral to me as your treating psychologist. You may then be eligible for up to 10 Medicare Rebated sessions per year ($96.65 per session) with GP approval. I can submit your Medicare Claim after each session on your behalf. You can find additional information HERE.

Fees:

Sessions are $310 ($330 for after-hours) for 50 minutes and are available via video, phone, or in person at my Novar Gardens, Adelaide office.

Cancellation Policy:

As session times are in high demand, and the fact that I only take on a certain number of referrals for treatment at any given time to ensure quality of care, we require at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If less than 48 hours notice is provided for cancellation, a full fee will apply.

For any appointments on Mondays, notifications of any reschedules are to be received by the latest, the Friday prior. Weekends are considered out of hours.

We do offer Telehealth sessions as an alternative should you be too unwell to attend in person.
