Hi, I’m Sarah Daviesâ
â
Psychologist for Women & Business Coach
â
If you’ve found your way here, there’s a good chance you’re feeling overwhelmed, stretched, or carrying more mental load than feels sustainable right now.
From the outside, things might look “fine”. But internally, you may be feeling anxious, depleted, unsure of yourself, or quietly questioning whether the way you’re living or working is actually working for you. You don’t need to be in crisis to seek support. Many women I work with reach out simply because they know something needs to change - and they don’t want to keep pushing through alone.
A bit about me
â
I’m a registered psychologist with over 20 years’ experience, and I also work as a business coach supporting women who want to build more sustainable, fulfilling ways of working.
I’m Adelaide-based, a mum of two, and someone who understands firsthand the mental load that comes with juggling work, family, responsibility, and expectations - both internal and external.
I began my career in organisational psychology and spent many of my early professional years living in Darwin, where I worked as a Psychological Services Manager for an Employee Assistance Program. In this role, I supported individuals and organisations with work-related stress, efficiency, decision-making, and productivity - often at times of significant pressure or change.
After returning to Adelaide, I worked in a private secondary school before moving into private practice - wanting to make a deeper impact while also creating greater flexibility in how I worked.
Over time, my work naturally evolved to include psychology-informed business coaching, shaped by what I was seeing again and again in the women I supported.
Why this work matters to me
â
So many capable, thoughtful women are holding a lot together.
They’re showing up for work, family, and others - often at the expense of their own wellbeing, clarity, or sense of ease. They may be anxious, overwhelmed, doubting themselves, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer fit the life they want.
My work is grounded in helping women step out of survival mode and into a way of living and working that feels more intentional, sustainable, and aligned, without needing to burn everything down.
How I work
ââ
My approach is warm, practical, and evidence-based. I’m not a “just talk and nod” therapist, and I’m not a hype-driven coach. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them gain clarity, understand what’s driving their stress or overwhelm, and take realistic, meaningful steps forward.
I aim to create a space that feels safe, thoughtful, and supportive - while also helping you build confidence, boundaries, and momentum over time.
Outside of work
â
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, watching my kiddies play sport, at the gym, out in nature, or enjoying an almond milk latte with a friend. I have a long-standing appreciation for interior design and creating spaces that feel calm, considered, and lived-in - and our much-loved sausage dog, Lola, is very much part of daily life too.
